So, the new F dock is ready — and many of the boats have relocated to the new club home. and its shiny amenities. Come check it out!
It’s that time of the year again to restock the boat and get out on the water. To kick things off we have worked with the Pier 121 yacht club to be a stop on the classic Wine-d Around the Docks. The date for this event is April 28th and it starts at 6:30pm.
We will be collecting dues for the year and taking orders for new cups, flags, and shirts earlier in the day starting at 3:00. Please come to the sailing pavilion to get a wrist band and enjoy a cold one before the fun begins.
Dues this year will be $50/person for boat owners and $75/person for crew that are looking for a great way to get into the DFW sailing community.
We have some great new themed parties planned for the year (schedule to follow soon) and some sponsors that are very excited with our growth last year.
Come on out and let’s get 2018 kicked off the right way!
See you at the lake!
Update from Wednesday:
If you plan to attend the Wine’d Around The Dock this weekend with the P121 Yacht Club please RSVP with me by the end of the day today. The event begins at 6:30pm at the marina and we are hosting the second stop on the crawl. LLSC members who are current on dues will be $15/person for the Yacht Club event + one bottle of wine per person. Guests are $25 + one bottle of wine, and walk ups are $35 + one bottle of wine. Food will be provided along with a live band (Zen & Tonic) at the last stop.
We will be out at the pavilion from 3pm-6pm Saturday collecting 2018 sailing club dues ($50/person for 2018). Calendar of events will be release prior to Saturday.
All emails will be updated Monday and a new members list will be created for correspondence. Please let me know if you would like to remain on the list for 2018 events and are not able to get out this Saturday 4/28.
The club has been around for many years, but we just spun up this new page on WordPress to replace that which had gone before.
We don’t plan to be Web-site intensive; communicating via web site updates just isn’t the way the cool kids do things anymore!
But it DOES give us some Google-searchiness.
